Reliable power is a criticle componant to the success of any 24/7 retail operation. Mavtech Energy designed and installed an emergency back up electrical power generation plant for a "must run" operation in San Diego California.

The design basis was a Caterpillar 750 kW engine. A battery back-up with a flywheel generator was employed to guarantee seemless transfer of power in the event of a power outage.

The company data center relied on the secure and reliable nature of this power plant, to both assure continued operation, but also assure against any data being loss due to power interuption.                        

Of Equal importance, was the construction of this plant, while minimizing any impact to the day to day retail operation.
